I have Windows 7 32bit & Windows 7 64bit in 2 images but both are French. I install Lotus Notes 8.5 French in both. With Windows 7 32bit, Lotus is French. With Windows 7 64bit, Lotus is English. In notes.ini, I have:

Hello! In attempt to deploy the software in execmgr.log there is error "Execution is complete for program..... The exit code is 1, the execution status is FailureNonRetry" and the software isn't established. But when I start manually installation passes successfully.
I run my_file.cmd which contains hotfix for microsoft project 2013

why I receive this error? In what my mistake?
What is the best way of uninstalling Windows Communicator 2007 R2 from windows XP computers that are part of a domain ? ( software wasnt deployed by SCCM) but we have SCCM 2007 in place.

Running SCCM 2007 sp2 R3 with 90 Windows 2003 distribution point shares.
One of them failed with: Failed to create virtual directory on the defined share or volume on distribution point
The distmgr.log has:
ERROR ExecMethod(): Failed to execute AppCreate2. error = The identity or password set on the application is not valid
ERROR CheckDPforDrizzle: Could not find the desired DP ["Display=\\pp120s1\lsdp$\"]MSWNET:["SMS_SITE=R04"]\\pp120s1\lsdp$\ in the SCF
Cannot set the current Drizzle Role status for the DP.
I can get it to stop the errors by turning off BITS on the distribution point.
I've noticed when comparing the IIS 6.0 settings between distribution points that the failing server is the only one that has a second listing under the default web site. Its called SMS_DP_LSDP$ and it lists all the folders under my LSDP$ share.
I could start over with the failing DP but its a slow network connection and has over 100 gig of package files.
Any help our redirection would be great.

I'm trying to use the file version detection method when deploying a new app to confirm that it has installed corrected but it doesn't work. If I set the detection method to be the presence of a particular file that the deployment works. The problem with this method though is that perhaps a method version of the software will come out and have the same file. Mainly I just did this to confirm that the deployment is generally ok and it's a file version issue. Can anyone help me find out why detection via file version isn't working?
I have it set up as:
File
path: c:\program files (x86)\software
file or folder name: software.exe
Ticked: YThis file or folder is associated with a 32-bit application on 64-bit system.
The file system setting must satisfy the following rule to indicate the presence of this application:
Property: Version
Operator: Equals
Value: 1.5.1301.0 (I check that the file version was exactly this)

In Service Center Task Sequence Wizard, after booting from a usb flash and choosing the appropriate image to be loaded on the machine, the wizaed begins to copy the windows preinstallation environment. Following that we get a TsmBootstrap.exe - application error:
The instruction at 0x732a8fe5 referenced memory at 0x00000008. The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminatethe program.
This happens regardless of the image we pick and happens on multiple PC that are being imaged.
how to use Cortech tool for displaying pop up & once click on OK mentioned application should close & installation will start e.g. adobe packages internet explorer need to close user should get a message to close IE than adobe installation will start

We are experiencing some strange behavior with regards to mandatory advertisements and client reinstalls. Here is the scenario.
1. Client is added to a collection as a direct member, which has a mandatory advertisement targeted to it
2. Client runs mandatory advertisement
3. Client uninstalls SCCM client (CCMSETUP /uninstall), and reinstalls. SMS GUID remains the same.
4. Client is re-prompted to run mandatory advertisement, even though Run Advertised Programs has it listed with a run time in step 2.
Is this normal behavior? My educated guess is "no". Execution histry of packages is retained in the history.
Anyone have any thoughts on why this is occurring?
Does anyone know a solution so that users can see a progress bar in windows 7 when deploying software using a different username (admin account) (ofcourse with /passive)
It seems that the progress windows runs on the desktop of the admin account which is not visible for the user.

I pushed a software upgrade to few hundred machines. The package has three programs with the program 3 mapped to the advertisement configured to run last.However it has to run programs 1 and 2 first
Program 1 - setup.exe and program restarts computer
Program 2 - Remove task manager process
Program 3 - Removes shortcut ( linked to advertisement )
It runs succesfully on most machines. However in some machines it fails after running program 1. But the software is upgraded on these machiens even if it reports failure. But the second and the third programs dont run. The difference in the failed machines is execmgr says Failing parent program for the program that removes the process (this is supposed to run after the successful run of program 1). Any idea ?

Our environment consists of 600+ BDP's and two secondary's, one primary. We are having an issue with the distribution of a package. The package is 2.6 GB in size and has over 100000 files inside. On a few of the BDP's, when a package update is run, the package folder only has some root files in but none of the expected folders that was supposed to be copied from the source. What could lead to this? Other packages copies fine and adverts run normally.

I have a Central Primary site that all my workstations are assigned to and then have multiple secondary sites where the machines can download locally from. The site boundaries are configured with IP Address Ranges and all the Sites have the DPs protected.
We've confirmed that there's no overlapping site boundary assignments and the protected DPs are setup correctly but we're seeing at least 3 different secondary sites having machines download directly from the central DP instead of the Local Secondary DP.
In the ContentTransferManager.log file there's entries like:
(Local) http://central_DP
(Local) http://secondary_DP
(Local) file: Central_DP
(Local) file: Secondary_DP
Please advise as to why the clients would be getting these 4 entries when we're expecting them to just have the entries for the secondary site. Also, the package is loaded on the secondary site and the deployment is configured to not fall back to an unprotected site.

the "v_siteroamingboundary_IPRange" stores the startingIP and endingIP as values similar to (167772170 / 167772424)......how can I convert these to an actual IP Address?

Hi, I would like to push out Office 2013 per system attended for my users to have the interaction to install Office 2013 on their own time. I setup my package for per-system unattended and works perfectly!! But, I would like to have the notification pop but, its not popping up. I've used the ORK to make my package. this is my command line msiexec.exe ALLUSERS=2 /m MSIXJPHY /i "proplusww.msi" for my per-system attended and choosing to have Admin rights and whether is the user is logged on or not. And my advertisement checking to "allow user to run the program independently of assignments", "Display reminders" and Use custom countdown. All 3 of these are checked. My status error message I'm getting is I've exceeded my time and Windows Installer needs to be higher than 2.0. But, I'm on Windows 7 and I know Windows 7 comes with Windows Installer 5.
Can you guide me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

Before SCCM, we used to use a software deployment solution which would prevent users from logging while a package is being installed. It would also display on screen what is being installed and once finished, the PC would restart if required or just present the logon screen.
Can something similar be done in SCCM? The "Only when no user is logged on" option is not much use to situations where the users log on straight after they power on their machines or for software updates that need to be installed urgently while no user is logged on (like software that requires that internet browsers or office applications are closed).
Running Win 7 32 Bit here. Have the need to run a 64bit application (Java 7 U17 via IE link) on these Desktops so thought that SCCM 2007 R3 could do the trick with App-V.
Is this possible? If the answer is yes, I will provide the steps I have already taken and go from there.
