Query SCCM Show only computers in AD

$

In sccm2012 we synchronizes computeraccounts with “active directory Group Discovery”. We synchronizes some OU’s.

In the AD someone throw all de computers away who are no longer in our Company. Now I want Cleanup all the computers who are in SCCM and not in the AD.

I make a collection with this Query:

select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System where SMS_R_System.SystemOUName = "Domain/COMPUTEROBJECTEN/CLIENTS/Windows7"

The result is that I get all the computers how are in SCCM because it look at the field "Distinguished Name" that is saved in SCCM and it did not really look into the AD.

Some now how to fix that?

Installing Applications using SCCM 2012 keeps failing

Hi everybody.

I'm trying to update software using SCCM 2012 and I keep getting the same error. It is as follows:

"Unable to download the software

There was a problem downloading the software" - then a bit more encouraging me to call helpdesk.

In the more information box I'm getting:

"The software change returned error code 0x800705B4 (-2147023436)."

Any suggestions on what could be causing this? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Dot net is failed.

I've pushed the Dotnet 4.5 package to one of test machines, but getting the error as "Install DotNetFramework_4.5.50709_EN failed with exit code 2148270085" in execmgr.log file and report its showing as '2146697211'.

cmd Line : "dotNetFx45_Full_setup.exe" /quiet /norestart

So could anyone of you help me on this please. Appreciated.

Much thanks in advance.

Windows 10 reinstall Issues with reinstalling apps

Windows 10 crashed and I was unable to recover other than by doing a reset. I still have my files but am struggling to reinstall some apps.

For iTunes I get the error message:

An error occurred during the installation of assembly "Microsoft.VC80.CRT ,type="win32",version="8.0.50727.4053" ,publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="amd64". Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80073715"

I have uninstalled all Apple components ( in various orders as suggested on the web) and also used the RAR extract technique to try and install the applications support piece separately (64bit)......no joy and considerable frustration.

Also tried the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update - to no effect

Any suggestions?

Quicktime package - install fails - "a newer version is already installed..."

I can get the package with my custom mst file to install if i manually run it via command line. If i then add it to SCCM for deployment, which runs under the system account it thinks it has a newer version installed. if i run it under the user context from SCCM it also thinks there is a newer version installed. When building a brand new pc with only Windows 7, Office 2007, Media Player 12 and the latest flash player, it again thinks there is a newer version installed.

Why do I get this message in SCCM:
The program for advertisement "00220075" failed ("0020005D" - "Per-system unattended"). The failure description was "A newer version of QuickTime is already installed. This installation cannot proceed while the newer version of QuickTime is installed.".
User context: NT-MYNDIGHET\SYSTEM

crashdumps log files keep generating

Hi all,

We currently have a weird problem with our SCCM.

There is a folder  D:\SCCM BakUP\HKGBackup\SiteServer\SMSServer\Logs\CrashDumps

It creates 60+GB logs each day for no reason. We have not made any changes to SCCM configuration recently.

I have tried to  removed those logs but they keep coming back…and some of the logs are dated back to June, 2011..

How can I stop the logs generating?

Please help.

Hello,

I want to make a collection for machines with OS installed from just one date. For example: I want a query for alle the machines that are installed from 11/20/2015. I found a query that show me the results for machines with OS installed in X number of days, but I look for just another one...

This is what I found:

select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client FROM
SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_OPERATING_SYSTEM on SMS_G_System_OPERATING_SYSTEM.ResourceId = SMS_R_System.ResourceId
WHERE
dateDiff(dd, SMS_G_System_OPERATING_SYSTEM.InstallDate, GetDate()) < 7
